About Dr. Ferdows Ahmed Chowdhury

Dr. Ferdows Ahmed Chowdhury is currently an associate professor and a gastroenterologist at Shahabuddin Medical College & Hospital, situated in Gulshan-2. He completed his MBBS from a highly reputed medical institution in Bangladesh and flew his way to the United Kingdom to pursue MSc. in Gastroenterology from Queen Mary University. His profound hunger for knowledge and experience led him into achieving a Fellowship in Endoscopy from Thailand and Diploma in Asthma & CCD (Diabetes). He is also a member of the prestigious British Society of Gastroenterology.

 

Words will fall short if we were to describe Dr. Ferdows Ahmed Chowdhury's empathetic nature and care for his patients. Living his life with the goal to treat and cure the patients of his country, Dr. Ferdows is also known as the dear son of his native lands. Not only does he contribute in the health care society of Dhaka, but he also takes a huge interest in improving the healthcare system in rural areas. ​Taking time out of his busy schedule, he makes sure to visit his village and provide free health check-ups to everyone on a monthly basis.  A man with a heart of gold, he treats his patients with the utmost respect and care.
